Modal Verb: May-Might. Conditional If

Modal verb May
"May" is most commonly used to express possibility. It can also be used to give or request permission, although this usage is becoming less common.          Examples:
  • Cheryl may be at home, or perhaps at work. possibility
  • Johnny, you may leave the table when you have finished your dinner. give permission
  • May I use your bathroom? request permission
This modal verb is more useable in America.
We can use for ask permission, to suggest something is possible
Might
"Might" is most commonly used to express possibility. It is also often used in conditional sentences. English speakers can also use "might" to make suggestions or requests, although this is less common in American English. This is British common use.
Examples:
  • Your purse might be in the living room. possibility
  • If I didn't have to work, I might go with you. conditional
  • You might visit the botanical gardens during your visit. suggestion
  • Might I borrow your pen? request
CONDITIONAL IF
Ø  If I were a queen, I will help poor people.
Ø  If I helped poor people, I will go heaven
Ø  If I went heaven, I will be an angel.
Ø  If I were an angel, I will talk to god.
Ø  If I talked to God, I will cry.
Ø  If I were crying, I will smile with God.
Ø  If I were with God, I will be happy.
Ø  If I were Happy, I will be proud of myself.
Ø  If I were proud of myself, I might stay with God.
Ø  If I were with God, I will have better life.
